Very nice review of my work on 'Death and the Man who could not Die': The pencils by Se7enhedd tell the story, but it’s the colors by JM Ringuet that sell the book. The brown and orange landscapes are vivid in their bleakness, and the use of light and shadow show a grasp of technique that can only come from years of training and practice. It’s a well-written, beautifully depicted book. More at: http://www.popthought.com/display_column.asp?DAID=1444

A baseball book project that didn't happen yet but some interesting (I think) character research for the main players, coach and agent. Doing a baseball comic would be fun although I'm not a big fan of the sport. Doing sports comics in general I think would be fun. Why does nobody do sports comics? There are some very successful manga based on basketball, soccer or even volleyball, so why not some comics? Any writer or publisher interested, email me and we‘ll talk about starting a full line of sports comics!
